This market in Pertuis takes place regularly on Fridays. You can usually start shopping from 8.00 am and the market traders clear up again from 12.30 pm.

Pertuis market is located Place Jean Jaurès, Place du 4 septembre and Cours de la République. This is in the south of the old city centre (map). 100 different booths are to be found on this market. The product range includes fruit and vegetables, direct marketing food, cheese, oarganic products, meat products, meat products, flowers and crop and also clothes, kitchen utensils, furniture, toys and not non alimentary producs.

The Pertuis market with its five centuries of existence, is one of the oldest and most lively markets in Provence. Since its foundation in the 15th century, it has taken place all year round on Friday mornings, and in the summer season attracts all tourists from this part of the Luberon and the Durance valley where three departments meet Vaucluse, Alpes-de- Haute-Provence and Bouches-du-Rhône.

It takes place in summer and winter until half past twelve. Local producers can be found in Rue Voltaire (town hall). They offer fresh eggs, organic products, fruit and vegetables from the garden, poultry, foie gras, goat cheese and Pertuis beer. On the other sites, stands and stalls offer customers: olives, olive oil, confits, spices, honey, cheeses, cold meats and a varied range of local products.
